You acknowledge that makeup services may involve the use of cosmetic products, tools, adhesives, and other materials that can cause irritation or allergic reactions in some individuals. 4. Payment Terms and Conditions

All fees, deposits, taxes, travel charges, and other applicable costs will be disclosed prior to or at the time of booking. Prices are subject to change without notice until a booking is confirmed.

Any chargebacks, payment disputes, or reversed transactions may result in suspension of services and recovery of administrative or collection costs to the extent permitted by applicable law.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

We understand that plans may change. However, cancellations and rescheduling affect our availability and business operations. The following policy applies unless a separate written agreement states otherwise:

6. Liability Limitations

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Canadian law, including the laws of Ontario, Lumière Beauty Atelier shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of opportunity, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or related to the use of our services.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

All content created, owned, or used by Lumière Beauty Atelier, including but not limited to text, branding, logos, service descriptions, photographs, videos, training materials, website content, and promotional materials, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws and remains the property of Lumière Beauty Atelier or its licensors unless otherwise agreed in writing.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, display, or create derivative works from our content without prior written consent, except as permitted by law.

We may photograph, film, or otherwise document completed makeup looks for portfolio, marketing, educational, or social media purposes, subject to applicable privacy laws and any written consent requirements. If you do not wish to be photographed or featured, you must notify us in writing before the service begins.

8. Data Protection and Privacy

Lumière Beauty Atelier collects, uses, stores, and discloses personal information only as necessary to provide services, manage bookings, process payments, communicate with clients, comply with legal obligations, and improve our business operations.

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy laws, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and any applicable provincial privacy legislation. If a force majeure event affects a booking, we may, at our discretion, reschedule the service, issue a partial refund for unrendered services, or take other reasonable steps consistent with applicable law and the circumstances.

13. Severability Clause

Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with any written booking confirmations, service agreements, policies, or consent forms provided by Lumière Beauty Atelier, constitute the entire agreement between you and Lumière Beauty Atelier regarding the subject matter herein and supersede prior discussions or understandings to the extent permitted by law.
